RSS DO’s

1. Titles and Descriptions.

Always include meaningful keywords in your RSS feed’s Channel title and description. Many readers will view or search for topic specific RSS feeds using keywords or keyword phrases. If you have descriptive keywords in your RSS feed’s title and description the feed is more likely to be located and subscribed to by interested parties.

2. GUID Format.

Always include a GUID with each feed item. The GUID is a globally unique identifier. Each post should use a different GUID. The GUID will in some cases assist RSS news readers and aggregation software in determining when new content has been added to the RSS feed or when existing content in an RSS feed has been modified. If you do not use GUID’s, the software used to aggregate the feeds may have difficulty detecting changes to feed items or the software may not always recognize new content.

3. Publish Dates.

Always include a publish date on feed items. The publish date should be used even if the content is timeless. The Publish Date will help readers determine that status of the content contained in the feed item.

4. Polish Your Feed.

Consider including images within your RSS feed. While the added images will not necessarily improve ranking, they will add a polished look to your RSS feed and help brand your feed.

5. Feed Hosting.

Either host your own feed, or set it up to forward to a third party from your website. This will allow you retain complete control over the RSS feed. You will not need to rely on the stability of another company. If you control the forwarding and at any point you are dissatisfied with the service provided by the third party, you can redirect the feed to another location.

RSS DON’Ts

1. Plagiarize.

Do not plagiarize content in your RSS feed, there is little more to be said. Written words are considered protected in most countries. Posting someone else’s work and taking credit for their words is wrong and will damage your reputation as a credible source.

2. Splog.

Do not create splogs by automating feed creation. Splogs just clutter the search engines and directories and make it difficult to locate RSS feeds with meaningful content.

3. Violate Copyrights.

Do not violate copyrights by republishing an RSS feeds contents. If you quote content from another RSS feed, credit the source and provide and link to the original source of the content. As a rule of thumb, editorial content should exceed the length of the quoted material in the post.

4. Violate TOS.

Do not republish RSS feeds without confirming that feed syndication is allowed. The terms of use are not always apparent, so it is important that you check the terms of service on the publisher’s feed subscription page prior to syndicating the contents of another publisher’s RSS feed.

5. Provide Multiple Feed Formats.

Do not provide multiple feed formats for the same content. As far as the subscriber is concerned, the version of RSS that you are using is irrelevant. Multiple versions of the same feed simply cause confusion. Almost all RSS readers and news aggregators support all versions of RSS, simply choose a version and provide a single feed.

By adopting good feed practices, you can reap the benefits of having an RSS feed. Following these simple RSS do’s and don’ts will get you started on the path to RSS success.

Have you ever heard about Kawaii Runa or her word “cutie” ? She was a writer for Game 13th gamezine, and when Game 13th closed she went to other gamezine called Ultima. Then I never heard about her anymore..

But when I read from some forums that she’s not real. Shocked ! that was my first reaction.. And then I tried to search back from Game 13th, read and collected some information about her.. and I found that there was a photo of her face.. so ? She’s real or not ? Then I found some article from another gamezine, Game Station. “Interview with Crew Game 13th, Kawaii Runa”

She said her initial is M.L. and her baptist name is Catherine, there’re a photos of her and hugging Game Station.

So I read again from forums they explained that her photos wasn’t her real photo.
The photos are photo’s of singer or artist from japan / korea ? And Game 13th and Ultima only use her for attracting some readers. Well, both gamezines used the same way how to make Kawaii Runa so real, they use arts and words. And you know what’s the worst thing about her ? She is a He… lolz.. at least that what they said in forum.

Description: A fast and agile character who leaps like a superhuman, the air is his playground. When transformed in his Trance mode, his mobility and speed are even greater.

Description: Able to fly freely in the air without a care in the world, he is also able to easily change directions and break out of attacks in the middle of combat. As he is not restrained by gravity or normal physics, the range and distance between him and his opponent is largely meaningless.

1. Click on “ctrl-alt-delete” keys. The windows task manager will then open, click on all programs that you don’t need and end the task. You will see that all programs on your taskbar will close one by one. If this will resolve the issue! – then save! (tip# 1: if you’re working on an MS Office application, it will automatically save your file incase the programs suddenly shut down — tip# 2: always save your file at least every 2 minutes by just simply clicking on the “diskette icon”— its just one click!)

So I suggest, if you are multimedia user or a heavy internet user, then you are better off with a higher memory, at least 512Mb of memory.

There are simple ways to avoid computer to freeze or hang up:

3. Clean your history at least once a week >tools>internet options>clear history. I normally set my history to “0”, meaning, when I restart my computer, it doesn’t save history pages that I have visited

4. Delete all internet temporary files >tools>internet options>delete files (do the “offline” content too!)

5. Delete cookies (some do not do this, but I do delete cookies at least once a week!) >tools>internet options>delete cookies

6. Remove unnecessary programs that you no longer use, they are just occupying space and memory! >control panel>add/remove programs

7. Do defragmentation at least once a week >point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (which is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>defragment now

8. You can also check the logical drive’s volume for errors >point the mouse to “start” button, then right click “explore”>right click the mouse pointing to drive C (I repeat, is usually the main system logical drive) >properties>tools>check now

9. It is better to have only one user being logged on. Even if there are many users, make sure the user logs off after using the computer, rather than keeping it logged on and you do the switching of users. Switching users is good as long as you don’t keep all users logged on—I think that is more logical

10. Always shut down properly the computer (do NOT use the power button when turning it off!)

What are the differences between adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator? Produced by the same company, there are some that say the difference between the two programs is small. In actuality, adobe illustrator takes some key elements of adobe photoshop to the next level and beyond.

In graphic design, adobe illustrator may be one of the best and easier tools you can use. The software is user friendly and tutorials to help you use illustrator better are all over the Internet. Whatever you need to learn about adobe illustrator, there’s a tutorial for that.

There’s no reason you cannot work with both adobe photoshop and adobe illustrator to create brand new images or polish existing ones. The two programs have some basic, shared components, so by mastering one you will already have a working knowledge of using the other. Generally, when sending messages or requesting files using HTTP you get response from the server and each of this response has a numeric code associated with it. Beat all Cosmos Hero’s story

Shantotto & Gabranth

Completing each of the character’s destiny is only half the battle.
Once you complete the ten you unlock a new “card,” which in itself has 4 more chapters. At the end of these you defeat Chaos.
After the storyline is complete, there are three new cards in story mode– one for Shantotto, one for Gabranth, and another I haven’t touched yet. Once you complete these, you unlock the character for purchase in the PP catalog.

How to play Gabranth

Unlock Chaos as a CPU by completing “Inward Chaos” story.

Duel Coliseum

To access Shantotto and Gabranth’s special storyline, you do have to complete story mode at the least. Also, completing story mode will open up a special mode called Duel Coliseum where you are given a random “fight card” of opponents to battle. The “fight cards” change depending upon what day it is and which day you select as your “Special Day” when first starting the game will come into play.

Play Plan

Upon starting the game, you’ll be asked your play plan. This determines what items you’ll receive as bonuses. The list goes as follows.

A little: Your Chocobo starts finding items after fifteen battles.
Casually: Your Chocobo starts finding items after thirty battles.
Every hour on the hour: Your Chocobo starts finding items after sixty battles.

The longer it takes, the better the loot. For example, you get the Chocobo Hair (+20% exp, 30% chance the accessory will break) accessory from the 15 battle one. From the 30 battle one, I’ve gotten Chocobo Feather (+50% exp, 30% chance to break.) The Chocobo is viewable via Quick Battle menu.

getting an EXP multiplier during your next battle.
