After “Butterfly Effect” i found another new term from TV series, John Doe. Well this time i didn’t find it from TV series Heroes, but from TV series Bones. If you didn’t know what Bones stories about, it’s like CSI. A group of people that solves murder case by identifying the bone’s victim. In some episodes of Bones they mentioned the term “John Doe” for the bones. And i started to thinking who is John Doe ? Why there are many bones of him ? Why he always become the victim ? Well, stupid me~ Thank God my brother tell me that “John Doe” was used to refer to a male corpse whose identity is unknown.

USB_3.0

I remember when i went to college at BiNus (2002) the media data for transfer my assignment in lab was floppy disk. Then the floppy disk was replaced by USB flash disk in 1.5 years . Now USB flash disk is known everywhere because it’s cheap , easy to use, and the capacity is bigger than floppy disk. I never see anyone use floppy disk anymore except for installing/repairing bios… Well is there anyone who still using floppy disc here ?

This article is not about USB flash disk, but USB port itself. USB is stands for Universal Serial Bus, this port has been standard for all external devices. When USB was introduced in 1995, it became clear that this port would replace all those big and bulky connectors that were used in the past. Data exchange speed was growing with every generation: from 12 Mbps in USB 1.1 to 480 Mbps in USB 2.0 , my first USB Flash disk was USB 1.1 and the capacity only 256 Mb i still use it till now :)

Today i watched serial TV Heroes season 3 episode 2 with the title “Butterfly Effect” . And i was thinking… wait a minute.. i’ve heard this butterfly effect before. Oh.. there’s actually a movie for this Butterfly Effect. Now i remember, about a month ago i watched this movie, the story tells about a kid that have a bad childhood memory, and during those days he black out so he don’t really remember what happened. When he grow up he read the journal about his childhood, and then he can go back to the day he was black out in his journal and change the past….that will effected to the future.. But, too bad every time he changed something in his past there will be something he didn’t expected to be happened in the future.

Ok that’s the summary for the movie, i hope you get the idea. And in Heroes, Angela Petrelli said to future Peter “You don’t screw with time. It’s called the butterfly effect. You step on a butterfly today. Three years from now, a million people are wiped out.”.
